Spectrum doubles sales as data management demand soars
April 15, 2016
Business is booming for Auckland-based managed services firm Spectrum, which says it has more than doubled sales and grown its business more than 40% in the past year, as demand grows for data management and protection.
The Actifio platinum partner specialises in consulting, architecture and management of IT solutions for enterprises across New Zealand and Australia, and says its experience rapid expansion in adoption of Actifio-backed services for data protection, disaster recovery and application testing and development.
The company’s Actifio-based services client base includes organisations from start-ups to multinationals, across a multitude of sectors including finance, government, insurance and pharmaceutical.
Anton Aalders, Spectrum CTO, says one of the biggest problems for businesses, regardless of their industry, is a growth of application data kept inside organisations, and the sprawling, costly infrastructure and processes needed to manage it.
“It is not uncommon to have as many as 25 copies of the same application data for different use cases, stakeholders or siloed infrastructure stack,” Aalders says.
