With more than 31 years of industry experience and leadership, Bob Leo is an
information technology visionary who specializes in the development of business and
information solutions using an integrated customer services and engineering approach
to design and development. Bob believes in a customer driven approach to information
management that includes coupling industry best practices, with customer needs,
creating a process to building application, infrastructure, and information management
and integration solutions.
Bob was an executive consultant in IBM’s Information Management group, blending the customer’s vision for enterprise information management with best practices and products and developing and executing a long term, reusable enterprise information management strategy for strategic customers. In the past, he has advised over 100 Fortune 500 companies on using information as a strategic asset.
Prior to joining IBM, Bob was VP of Information Services and CIO at Liberty Health Advantage. Bob was responsible for all aspects of IS operations, including application and infrastructure delivery, data management, enterprise architecture and the success of IS as it delivers solutions to the business leaders at Liberty. A key to his success was surrounding himself with and developing talented individuals dedicated to the mission of business-focused information services.
A native of Brooklyn, New York, Bob graduated in 1988 from Carson-Newman College in Jefferson City, Tenn., with a degree in computer information systems, and has been honored with the 2010 Outstanding Young Alumnus Award.
His family is his passion, including his 4 children. He aspires to fly airplanes and loves to play music and is a drummer, guitarist, singer and recording artist and producer. He also loves coaching youth sports.
