We’re expecting a record-breaking show with over 22,000 attendees. So, what did we do to prepare?
1) Build a whole new booth with our latest and greatest branding, something we call internally – Actifio 2.0. To go in it, we’re introducing a whole new collateral system (technical & business related) including: New Actifio Overview brochure, New Channel Partner program overview, New Services/Support brief and New Product Datasheets.
2) Planned one of the most talked about community events in VMworld history, with the ‘social reach’ going out to more than 130,000 people. We call it #vFlipCup and with VMware’s legendary community team led by John Troyer (@jtroyer), Tony Dunn and Alex Maier we’re hosting the Official/Unofficial VMworld Tweetup and 1st Annual #vFlipCup tournament at the Cablecarpub.com on Monday night.
3) Scheduled more than 100 meetings with press, media, analysts, customers, business partners and VMware executives. If you’re interested in meeting with our team please stop by booth #216 and we’ll find a time for a briefing at our executive suite which is right off the show-floor. We’ve brought key members of our engineering staff, product management, service provider and executive staff to meet with you. Please email me at Andrew@actifio.com if you’re interested.t, 7pm.
4) Launching a new product. This one is top secret, but if you come by the booth, we’ll have one there and we’ll be happy to give you’re a demo or you can take the helm for yourself. There’s nothing like live gear on the show floor – where you can kick the tires. We’re really excited about this one and know you will be too.
So there’s a snapshot of some of the activities going on. Literally, hundreds of hours have gone into preparing this year’s VMworld presence at Actifio and we couldn’t be more excited to descend on the Moscone Center and meet you in person. Look for the Actifians in orange and come say hello. Put your seatbelts on, we’re coming in for a landing!
